We are thrilled to announce that the student abstract paper "Software Tools for Supporting Automatic Interpretation of Medical Images" has been accepted for presentation at the prestigious Pan African Conference on Science, Computing  and Telecommunications (PACT) conference. This acceptance represents a significant milestone in our research journey, focusing on the critical role of automated image interpretation tools in the domain of medical imaging.

Our submission to the Pan African Conference on Science, Computing and Telecommunications (PACT 2023) titled "Large Scale Analysis of Medical Image Metadata," has been accepted, and will be presented during the upcoming Pan African Conference on Science, Computing and Telecommunications (PACT 2023) conference. This paper delves into the systematic analysis of Medical Image Metadata encoded using the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard.

In a significant stride toward advancing healthcare in Zambia, a one-day workshop took place at the University Teaching Hospitals in Lusaka on March 6, 2023. The event marked the formal launch of the "Exploring the Use of Enterprise Medical Imaging (EMI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Efficient and Effective Radiological Workflows in Public Health Facilities in Zambia" project. This workshop gathered key stakeholders and potential partners to explore avenues for collaboration in addressing critical challenges in the healthcare sector.
